15 Days of Makeup : Favorite Powder

My fave powder is a powder foundation. Its my Neutrogena Skin Clearing Powder in tan. When I picked this up I was looking for a good neutrogena concealer for when I have breakouts. But there wasn't a very good selection of colors well at least at the store I happen to be at. I saw this and again not alot of colors for me to choose from. I took the darkest one they had and to my amazement it was a really good match. Although it isn't a full coverage it leaves a pretty soft looking finish. Now if the product works for clearing breakouts , I don't know yet and when I do I will do a full review.

15 Days of Makeup: Favorite Foundation

Now this one for me was hard. So for a tye breaker I decided to talk about my first love MAC!!!!

Yes my 1st love is MAC Studio Tech in the color NC45. It glides on smooth like a liquid then dries as a powder. I lOVE IT! Even though it does tend to be a lil heavy after wearing it all day without a setting powder it matches me really well. I have have oily/ combination skin and it doesnt make me look all shiny and greased up. One compact for $28 lasts me a long time. Even used for as full coverage , you dont need to use alot of it at one time. I do recommend to use a setting powder though.

15 Days of Makeup: Favorite Blush

The square compact is the blush. 

My absolute favorite blush has to be my Candid Coral blush from ELF. Its very pigmented and at a great value of $3, it has great quality. Its a peachy, coral color great for summer time. With this color it can warm up any skin tone and give a natural blushed look. This blush is my everyday go to blush. The packaging is cute and sleek not too big and no too small. Try it out, I promise youll love it.

The circle compact is the NYX product.

My Fav Bronzer is definitely NYX Illuminating bronzer in Magnetic. I either use this as a highlighter or mixed with a blush. It adds a golden/peachy glow with a little of gold sparkles. The actual peachy color doesnt really have that much of a payoff but it looks good and feels good on the skin. You can use this all over your body where you want a lil glow at. I got this bronzer in a hautelook sale http://www.hautelook.com/short/3EwtU but on the NYX Website they have it listed for $9.00. Not a bad deal.

NOTD: July 4th Inspired

In the spirit of Independence day I wanted to show my patriotism by doing my nails red, white, and blue. Since my outfit I wore was mostly blue, I used red on all my nails. The ring finger was painted all white just one coat. Then using a cosmetic sponge I blotted the red and blue nail polish diagonally leaving a lil strip of white in between the colors. Once it dried I put a few coats of a glitter polish. Across the white strip I used some rhinestones, covered it with a top coat and was ready to go. It took me about 10-15 mins to do both hands.

My favorite Mascara right now is the Avon SuperShock Max in black. It glides on smooth and it is really dark. It gives the appearance of longer and fuller lashes. The big brush helps with the coating all of your lashes. One to two coats is enough for this product because of the thicker consistency. One thing is if you use too much of this product it will clump easy, so make sure the you use full and long strokes to coat your lashes all the way through. Its very affordable, right now it is $5.99. The tube is huge so you get alot of product.

15 Days of Makeup- Favorite Eyeliner

My Favorite Eyeliner is most definitely Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eyepencil in Zero. Yes It is on the pricey side being at $19.00 but trust me its worth every penny. I use this on almost every makeup look I do. It really does glide on smoothly with minimal l tugging on the eye. The pigment on this is amazing, the darkest black I have ever tried. I thought it was gonna be hard to wash off but you do need to use a makeup remover to remove it. It is smuge-able and once it sets it won't budge.

Review: NYC Instant Lash Mascara

I recently found this mascara at walmart for around $2 and some change. So excited I found a mascara for a more affordable price went straight home to try it out. Little did I know I had overpaid. To put in plainly, it sucks. It seemed like a really thin liquid consistency. I used 3 coats and it still wasnt givivng me that full thick lash. I tried it again and letting the coats dry before I had put another coat ...STILL nothing. Maybe if you already have long thick lashes and just want them to look darker I wouldnt buy or use this again. Ladies please save your money.

Hair: Miss J Wig

I bought this wig maybe 8 months ago, it is a lace front wig. Its from misswigs.com at a great price on sale for $29.99. I bought it for $10 more but still a great price. It is synthetic but with proper care can last a long time. The comapany does have two different lengths one is the short the other is long, the one I have is short and its about 16 inches without pulling the curl out. With the wavy texture of the hair it does tangle at the nape. Just in the recent times I wore this hair it has started to shed, but at first for me it didnt. Straight out the package its super soft almost like its a human hair blend and the color i got was a 1B. I finger comb it out a little and it did get big so if you dont like big hair she is not for you. For the times that I dont want that really full diva like hair I tame her with wig control spray but be aware it is still full.  Ive washed her about three times and she does go right back to her original wave state just not as fizzy. I really like her and would def repurchase. The picture above is a different color but same wig but in T2 B30.
This Hair gets 4 Diva Stars.
